Golang Job: Junior Security Engineer

The successful candidate will join a team of experienced security engineers that develop security solutions deployed in large-scale enterprise networks.

The successful candidate will have a mix of deep technical knowledge, and a demonstrated background in information security. They must have passion for engineering solutions to complex security challenges.

• Write succinct and robust code
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve software bugs
• Perform in-depth analysis and reverse engineering of malware
• Produce detailed forensics and malware analysis reports
• Continuously improve digital forensics and malware analysis processes

• BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience
• Can write code in Python, PowerShell, and C or Golang
• Understanding of best practices in security engineering: secure development, cryptography, network security, security operations, systems security, and policy
• Understanding of security vulnerabilities, attacker exploit technique, and tactics, and how to detect and prevent them
• You keep your knowledge and skills current to keep up with the rapidly changing threat landscape
• Experience with common security monitoring, log analysis and forensic tools
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy

• Professional demeanour and appearance
• Prioritize tasks as directed
• Cultivated work discipline, email acknowledged and/or replied promptly, messages returned same day are non-negotiable musts
• Punctuality - at work, calls and any other meetings
